I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back our middle school students from the extended mid-year break. I trust that our students are feeling recharged and prepared for Term 3. In footy parlance, this very important term could be compared to the third quarter in an AFL game which is often called the “premiership quarter”. During Term 3, students will consolidate on the foundations they have laid in Semester 1 and also make their charge towards the end of the year.
Year 7 Camp
I would like to take this opportunity to both thank and congratulate our Year 7 students for the way in which they collectively conducted themselves on our recent Canberra tour. The staff all agree that this was an exceptional group of students to take away and it made everybody’s experience all the more enjoyable. Feedback from the students has been overwhelmingly positive, and it is with a tinge of sadness that we draw the curtains on our annual Canberra pilgrimage. I would also like to thank the staff who gave their precious time to accompany our students on the tour. Mr Kirchner, Miss McHugh, Miss Conway and Miss Johnson and Miss Deer all did an amazing job supporting our Year 7s and ensuring that they had an unforgettable week away.
