Opening Hours

Our opening hours for 2018 are 7.30 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7.30 am to 4.30 pm on Fridays. Students in Years 1 to 12 are welcome in the Learning Hub before school. Students in Years 4 to 12 are welcome after school. Please note that students in Years 4 to 6 must be collected in person by a parent, guardian or older sibling.

After School Activities

We are currently offering activities after school on a Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesdays will be Stop Animation Club run by Miss Sibley, and Thursdays will be Code Club run by Ms Jones. Sign up emails for these activities have already been distributed to Primary School parents. We will be offering more activities as the year goes on, so please keep an eye out for emails advertising these.

Makerspace

Makerspace lunchtimes will kick off soon, with some exciting new technologies purchased last year available for the students to experiment with and explore. These include spheros, makey-makeys, and strawbees, as well as all of the usual construction fun with paddle pop sticks, lego and cardboard.

Book Fair

We are holding our first Book Fair for the year from March 5 to March 9. More details will be provided closer to the time.

Book Club

The first Scholastic Book Club for the year has been distributed to primary school students this week. Orders are due by 12 February. If any parents of Middle and Senior School parents would like a copy of the catalogue, please let us know. Alternatively, you can view the catalogue online at http://www.scholastic.com.au/schools/bookclub/.

We thank parents for their continued support of the Scholastic Book Club, as we are able to use the commission from these sales to purchase new books for the Learning Hub to ensure we keep our collection current and interesting for students.

Textbooks

Textbooks have now been distributed to all Middle and Senior School students. Students should be sure to write their name in the front of the textbooks, and ensure that they check regularly throughout the year that they still have the copy of the textbook that was issued to them, rather than another students.

Earn and Learn - Thank You

A huge thank you to all families who supplied Woolworths Earn and Learn stickers to the school. Our order has finally arrived and we were able to select a great range or resources and games that we can use in the Learning Hub and Makerspace.
