Combined Schools Music Fundraiser This Saturday

This Saturday 18 May, St Luke’s Anglican School is combining with Shalom College to present the inaugural Combined Schools Music Fundraiser. This concert will raise funds for the Australian Children’s Music Foundation and Aussie Helpers. A raffle and bake stall will be held during the evening to help raise funds for these charities.

Where: Shalom College Performing Arts Centre

When: Saturday 18 May 7.00 pm

Tickets available at the door

  • Adults: $10.00
  • Children 3-12: $5.00, Children under 2 years: Free.

Bundaberg Music Eisteddfod Results - Solos/Duets/Small Ensembles


The following students were awarded either Championships, Bursaries or special awards at the Bundaberg Regional Eisteddfod Gala Concert on Friday 10 May.

  • Speech and Drama: Jordan Rewald, Bonny Treloar, Reid McWha, Poppy Derbyshire
  • Music: Poppy Derbyshire, Jamelia Barnes, Genelle Ong, Hein Kuyler, Mario Pinto, Taylah Halpin, Emily Hung, Laura Branch, Bonny Treloar, Sophie Ainsworth.
  • St Luke’s Small Ensemble results: Senior Brass Ensemble 2nd place; Lacov Elbmesne 2nd Place; The Procrastinators, Senior Chamber Ensemble and St Luke’s Mash Up all received Highly Commended.

 Congratulations to all students who performed in the Eisteddfod!



Cultural Assembly

A Cultural Assembly will be held next Tuesday 21 May at 9.40 am. The Brass Ensemble and Senior Orchestra will perform. Recent events which Performing Arts students have been involved in will be recognised.



Behind Closed Doors - 2019 Drama Production

Thank you to all who supported students in Behind Closed Doors. The show was a great success and we are very impressed with the level of skill and maturity displayed by our actors throughout the performance. Congratulations once again to the cast!

Junior Singers Rehearsals

Come along and join the fun! All Year 3 – 6 students are welcome to join our amazing Junior Singers. Term 2 will see us preparing for the Groups Eisteddfod in Term 3 and other performances along the way.

The group rehearses every Tuesday morning starting from 7:45 am until 8:25 am in the Primary Music classroom. No need to sign up – just come along!
