Ponytail Project

Aug 23rd 2018

Ponytail projectSome events in life force us to consider what is important and what we take for granted. For Year 12 student Nicola Keidge, reflecting upon beloved teacher Helen Philip’s journey with cancer was motivation to find a way to help others who are fighting Cancer and other illnesses. So began the St Luke’s Ponytail Project.

In the lead up to the Ponytail Chop, we are setting the goal high, aiming to raise at least $100 for every inch of hair to be cut on the day. Donations can be made to participating students, or the whole St Luke’s team, by following this link: hairwithheart.everydayheroAn additional Cancer Council Fundraising page has also been established: doitforcancer

Please join us as we strive to make some tough moments in life a little better for as many people as we can! Any generosity that you can show is greatly appreciated.

If you would like more information on the Ponytail project, please contact Nicola Keidge 20183468@slasmail.com or Erin McHugh erin-mchugh@stlukes.qld.edu.au. If you would like to show your support by placing a Ponytail Project fundraising box in your workplace, please call the school administration, or email erin-mchugh@stlukes.qld.edu.au so that we can arrange a collection box for you.
